What the app accesses

POGuard requests read-only access to product variants so it can match purchase-order item codes with Shopify SKUs and barcodes.

Purchase-order files

CSV, XLSX, and PDF files are processed inside the merchant’s browser. POGuard does not upload or retain the file contents, customer names, addresses, email addresses, or order details.

What the app stores

POGuard stores the shop domain, Shopify authentication session, merchant-created item-code aliases, and merchant-created case-pack multiples. It does not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Application rules are removed after the app is uninstalled and when Shopify sends the required shop-redaction request. Shopify privacy webhooks are handled even though POGuard does not store customer records.
